Wayne State hikes room and board rates

A brief item notes that the Wayne State University Board of Governors has approved new room-and-board rates for the 2008-09 academic year. Rates will increase 3.5 percent for room and board and 5 percent for university apartments. Rates remain among the lowest in the state, based on higher education price index figures, officials said.
