This academic year marks the 75th anniversary of the College of Engineering at Wayne State.

Events to commemorate the milestone include the college's annual engineering alumni recognition event, Night of the Stars, on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Detroit Institute of Arts; Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the engineering building before the football game; and the opening of the new Marvin I. Danto Engineering Development Center on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

These events and others in 2009 will be an opportunity for engineering alumni to return to the college and celebrate 75 years of education, leadership and innovation.
