President Irvin D. Reid has announced that Susan Burns, vice president of Development and Alumni Affairs and president of the Wayne State University Foundation, intends to submit her resignation, effective early July 2008. She will assume the position of president at St. John Health Foundation.
The Science and Engineering Library (SEL) has designed a display of the life's work and publications of Jeheskel "Hezy" Shoshani, PhD, who died May 20, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Shoshani was reportedly one of the victims of a bomb attack on a public minibus taxi as he was returning to his home from Addis Ababa University.
