You will be able to get a firsthand account of how the agencies use your donations to help transform lives.

The Combined Charitable Contributions Campaign began Oct. 14 and ends Nov. 20. The participating organizations are the Black United Fund and United Way for Southeastern Michigan. The goal is to raise $125,000.
All faculty and staff are invited to Warrior Bowling Night, Friday, Nov. 6, at the Garden Bowl, which is part of the Majestic Theatre Center, 4120 Woodward Ave. The event takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and costs $20 for faculty and staff and $10 for friends, family and non-bowlers.

More than 1,000 people strolled along Gullen Mall on Sept. 23 as the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) held its 39th annual Global Festival. Previously called the "International Fair" and held each year in October, the event's success was due in part to nicer weather.
